Recently I read that physical activity and time outside are wonderful gifts not only for our bodies but our minds. I couldn't agree more. If you ask me, it's helpful in reducing stress and anxiety too. It is our responsibility to take care of this one mind and body. Should thoughts of selfishness arise, release them immediately. Besides, it can be beneficial for your loved ones. It doesn't have to be complicated. Begin simply by stepping outside for a few minutes. Perhaps you'll be moved to take a five-minute walk. Observing plants, flowers, trees, birds and insects is not only fun but rewarding. Say "hello" or wave to neighbors that are out and about. Use this time wisely as a well-deserved break in your day. You might enjoy it so much you'll get out more often. Maybe even daily!
