Practicing gratitude is a choice we make. One of the best ways to garner the benefits of gratitude is to notice different things we are grateful for throughout the day. Even the simplest things in life will surprise us with abundant gratitude.
People who practice gratitude experience more positive emotions and feel more alive. Gratitude allows us to appreciate what we have rather than focus on what we don't have.
Reflect on two things you're grateful for today. Write them down. This could be the beginning of a gratitude journal. We highly recommend it.
