First things first.
What are your MITs (first conceived of by Gina Trapani as Most Important Tasks)?
Namely, what are the three things you must accomplish today. Might you get a lot more done than three things? Of course. But the idea is that no matter what else you do today, these are the things you want to be sure of doing.
And here’s the key to the MITs: do them first thing in the morning, either at home or when you first get to work. If you put them off to later, you will get busy and run out of time to do them. Get them out of the way, and the rest of the day is gravy!
For Alice and me, it's spending time in meditation. And then it's email correspondence. Exercise and time for a healthy meal are also our MITs.
You might think that MIT is such a small thing to implement, and yet small things can make big differences. Try it; you won't be disappointed!
If you're looking for some inspiration, encouragement and coaching for exercise, go to Fitness by Nan. You won't be disappointed.
